In our clinic we use CAD/CAM technology, in other words, the CEREC system of the company called Sirona. By opting for this system a patient can obtain crowns, veneers and inlay/onlay/overlay of a perfect shape, size and aesthetic value, in just one visit without your dental imprint being made and without the need to opt for temporary solutions. The procedure is as follows: after we have carefully whetted one or more teeth, using a 3D scanner connected to a computer we are able to display them enlarged on the screen, as well as the teeth on the other jaw and the teeth in the position of bite.
We then gain an insight into the appearance of the new crown, veneer or inlay, and we are given the opportunity to improve the model. After the material has been chosen, it is put into a machine which creates the dental solution within 10 to 15 minutes. The solution is placed in the patient’s mouth and put in a ceramics furnace if the solution fits. After 20 minutes we are given a product ready to be fixed inside a patient’s mouth.
